Musique à l’unisson
We invite you to visit the Musique à l’unisson website to learn more about the organization and contact them.
Over the past few years, Share the Warmth has observed an increase in the need for food security. For example, nearly 500 new families have registered with the food bank over the past year. To better respond to this new reality, we have carried out a strategic planning exercise in the spring of 2024 to ensure that our mission is clear, and to better guide our actions in the future. These reflections have led us to make the decision to refocus our actions around food security.
In this context, an in-depth reflection took place on the place of the music program at Share the Warmth. The main conclusions were that: the program is of high quality and meets a real need in the neighbourhood in terms of both offerings and accessibility. We therefore feel it is important to maintain the program’s activities in the neighbourhood by finding it a new “home”, an organization willing to support it.
Sandrine Zuyderhoff, the director of music programs at Partageons l’espoir for almost 5 years, founded a non-profit organization two years ago to start up a music program like the one we have. The organization, which is called Musique à l’unisson, has a structure capable of supporting the music program.
It therefore seemed logical and natural to hand over the music program to this organization. So, as of next September, the music program of Partageons l’espoir will become Musique à l’unisson-Pointe-Saint-Charles.
We invite you to stay tuned for registration at the end of August.
