Today, 150 local youth learn music thanks to Share the Warmth’s adapted and flexible music program.
Bringing about CHANGE through music
Music has an impact on many different facets of a child’s development. That is why Share the Warmth uses it to foster children’s overall development and success.
In 2013, Share the Warmth adopted the philosophy of El Sistema (an orchestral program for young musicians begun in Venezuela by Jose-Antonio Abreu to meet the needs of very underprivileged youth) within its music program to offer support to local youths.
The program has since grown in partnership with local schools to reach 150 children.
